Xiaomi launches new energy-efficient smart air conditioners Mijia Air Conditioner Eco in Europe

Xiaomi has announced the launch of its new Mijia Air Conditioner Eco air conditioners on the European market, NotebookCheck writes. The first country where the devices became available was Spain. Recently presented on the brand's global website, the model has officially gone on sale, joining the line of air conditioners alongside the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco.

The new product is presented in four versions, designed for rooms with an area of 10–20 m² to 50–70 m². The air conditioners provide both cooling and heating, but have only vertical oscillation of the blinds, while the Pro model provides full movement in two directions. According to the manufacturer, the devices are distinguished by high energy efficiency: the Mijia AI Energy Saving Mode allows you to reduce electricity consumption by up to 24.4%.

Features include support for remote control via the Xiaomi Home app, where users can monitor energy consumption, check filter status, and receive software updates. In addition, sleep, dehumidification, and timer modes are available. The devices come with a physical remote control and are compatible with Google Assistant voice commands.

The Xiaomi store in Spain is now open for pre-orders for the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco. The 2.6 kW and 3.5 kW models are priced at €469 and €519 respectively, while the 5.2 kW and 7.0 kW variants are priced at €859 and €1,099. Deliveries are expected to begin on April 30.

It is currently unknown when these air conditioners will appear in other European countries.
